Professor Lars Noah received a $10,000 grant from the American Society of Law, Medicine & Ethics to prepare an article, “Challenges in the Regulation of Pain Management Technologies.” The new Chief Counsel of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has asked Noah to serve as a special consultant, which he will do informally at first while teaching as a visiting professor at the Georgetown University Law Center during the fall. Noah also was quoted recently in the Washington Post and on a National Public Radio broadcast regarding legal questions brought on by human cloning, and interviewed on NPR regarding FDA law.
