Open enrollment for the certificate in family law

Family law is not just about marriage and divorce. It encompasses civil and criminal law practices that affect children and families. It includes adoption law, education law, domestic violence law, dependency/child welfare and juvenile justice. Other examples are immigration, human rights, health issues affecting families, trafficking and poverty law. Enroll now for the certificate in family law and get registration priority for core courses. Enrollment forms and certificate requirements can be found at and should be turned in to Debbie Kelley in HOL 368A.

If you were unable to attend the estate planning certificate information meeting it is not too late to enroll. All enrolled students get registration priority in core certificate courses. LSAC writing competition – chance to win $5,000

The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) Diversity Committee is hosting a writing competition to promote diversity in law schools and the legal profession.

There will be three winners (1L, 2L and 3-4L) who will be eligible for cash prizes of $5,000. Submissions must be received by 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 1. To learn more, read the LSAC Writing Competition Memo.
