George Dawson

Larry DiMatteo
Affiliate Professor of Law

DiMatteo was one of six dignitaries that presented papers to honor the 66th birthday of Professor Hugh Beale of the University of Warwick. The other dignitaries included the chief justice of the UK Supreme Court and the Provost of Oxford University. The conference was held at the Inns of Court on March 24. On June 6, DiMatteo presented a paper entitled “Law of Penalties: A Behavioral Analysis” at a conference hosted by the Center for European Private Law at the University of Münster, Germany. DiMatteo was also appointed to the Advisory Boards of the University of Warsaw Journal of Comparative Law and Italy’s Annuario Del Contratto. He was recognized as the 2013-14 Graduate Teacher of the Year by the Warrington College of Business. Finally, his work on international sales law was cited by the Western District of Pennsylvania in Roser Techs., Inc. v. Carl Schreiber GmbH, 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 129242 (Sept. 2013).

Lynn Drysdale

Drysdale received the Florida Consumer Lawyer of the Year award from The Florida Bar Consumer Protection Law Committee’s Aug. 8 from Attorney General Pam Bondi. The award was announced at the June Bar meeting.

Joan Flocks
