UF Law Launches Florida E-Discovery Case Law Database

The University of Florida Levin College of Law is pleased to announce the public availability of its searchable Florida E-Discovery Case Law Database.

The database collects Florida state and federal e-discovery related decisions, opinions, and orders. Each e-discovery ruling is carefully summarized to provide enhanced search functionality of key concepts. Additionally, the database organizes the rulings into useable e-discovery concepts, allowing decisions to be searched by court, date, judge, rule, and e-discovery issues, tags, and subjects. The database also allows users to download PDF copies of the ruling and related case documents.

“The Levin College of Law is already a nationwide leader in e-discovery, and this new database is a valuable resource for students, practitioners, and scholars,” said Dean Laura A. Rosenbury.

The Levin College of Law seeks to prepare students for the ways technology is rapidly transforming the legal profession. As the public flagship law school, UF Law also seeks to provide important resources to practitioners in the third largest state.

“We are very pleased to make this robust resource publicly available to lawyers practicing in Florida courts, Florida jurists, and scholars,” said William Hamilton, a legal skills professor and director of UF Law’s E-Discovery Project.
