UF Law Tax Students Can Receive Up to 85% Tuition Discount as Editors of Florida Tax Review

Students in the University of Florida Graduate Tax Program have the opportunity to receive up to an 85% tuition discount through a combination of tuition waivers and scholarship funds by becoming an editor of the Florida Tax Review.

The Florida Tax Review, which published its first issue in 1992, has produced some of the world’s leading tax scholarship. UF Law Research Foundation Professor Charlene Luke, who currently serves as editor-in-chief, is joined by several UF Law tax faculty as associate editors and an esteemed board of advisors from leading institutions. Current articles and more information about Florida Tax Review are available at http://journals.upress.ufl.edu/ftr.

The program will continue to offer 7-8 scholarships for students to become editors; selected students will work on articles written by tax scholars from around the world. “Students work closely with professors at UF and from other institutions,” Professor Luke said. “They form strong ties with each other and keep in touch throughout their careers.”

The program is actively extending editor scholarship offers for the coming academic year. Students with strong interests in tax, prior journal experience, and other related student organization experience will be considered. Students must be able to balance grades and extracurricular activity. To learn more, visit https://www.law.ufl.edu/admissions/ll-m-admissions.
