Levin College of Law

24/7 ACCESS TO LIC DURING FINALS

The Legal Information Center (LIC) will be extending its hours during the upcoming reading and exam period. Beginning at 7:30am on Sunday, November 26th, the LIC will be open to law students ONLY, 24 hours per day, seven days per week, until we close at 5:00pm on Wednesday, December 13th. We will resume our standard hours on Thursday, December 14th.

During the reading and exam period, the circulation/reserve desk will be open from 7:30am to 2:00am, and the reference desk will maintain its standard hours, but the study spaces throughout the LIC will be available 24/7 to law students.

A security guard will be in the LIC lobby during this time, and every person who enters the LIC to study or use the materials will be asked to show his or her ID to the guard and sign in.  Please review your Gator 1 Card and make sure that the card indicates “Law” underneath your name.  If your Gator 1 card does not have such an indication, your information will have to be verified by the security guard. Also, in order to preserve study space, only current College of Law students will have access to the LIC during the reading and exam period.
