Jack Mills (Opening Keynote Speaker)

Jack is a graduate of University of Oklahoma, Business and Law, 1960 & 63. Soon thereafter, Jack began working with US Army Intelligence from 1963-1965 and later served as the Asst. Director of Athletics at the University of Colorado from 1965-1966. Aside from his own private practice, which began in 1966, Jack is a Founding member of the Sports Lawyers Association for which he served as the President and Director for 37 years. Jack has represented Professional athletes since 1968, including many in the NBA, NHL, and professional golf, but primarily athletes in the NFL. In 1993, Jack was a selected recipient of the Joseph E. O’Neil Award by the National Sports Law Institute at Marquette University in 1993. He is currently a member of Ascent Sports Management, LLC and Capitol Sports Advisors and was recently named a 2016 5280 Magazine “Top Lawyer” for Denver’s best attorneys. Jack has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Colorado since 1995.
Kelli Masters (Closing Keynote Speaker)

Kelli is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a BA in Journalism in 1995, and JD with Honors in 1999. Kelli is an attorney and Of Counsel with Fellers Snider law and has been with the firm since 2000. She is the Founder and President of KMM Sports, a full-service sports agency, and is a NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor and agent to professional athletes in football, baseball and Olympic sports.  Kelli was recognized by Bleacher Report as one of 25 Most Influential Women in Sports worldwide.  She is the Author and speaker on sports business as well as non-profit/tax-exempt organization law.

CLE Credits:
Each individual that is a Florida Bar Certified Attorney will receive 7.5 general credits for attending the entire Symposium. You must sign in at the registration desk. Following the Symposium, you will receive an e-mail with a reference number to receive your credits. These credits are at NO CHARGE to our attendees.

EASLS understands that many UF students have classes on Monday, April 4, 2016, during the Symposium. Students will be allowed to come and go as their schedule allows. We just ask that you do so in a non-disruptive manner. We want as many UF students students and faculty to join us as possible!

Thank you for your interest in the University of Florida Levin College of Law 2016 Entertainment and Sports Law Symposium. There will not be any admission fee for this year’s Symposium. But, donations for future Symposiums will be accepted the day of the Symposium.
