  • The College of Law offers a leading state-of-the-art academic law environment. Its newly renovated and enlarged facilities include not only one of the largest law libraries in the country – with spacious study areas, conference rooms, carrels, high speed data ports and rare books and historic displays – but also two education towers with modern classrooms, comfortable seating and advanced technology capabilities.

Richard B. Stephens Tax Research Center

The Legal Information Center includes the Richard B. Stephens Tax Research Center, which helped put the University of Florida Graduate Tax Program at the forefront of tax research. The facility expedites tax research by centralizing all of the library’s tax holdings.

The center, which includes almost 70 carrels for graduate tax students, was established through private contributions from alumni, The Florida Bar Tax Section, Florida law firms, and friends of the program’s first director, the late Professor Richard B. Stephens.

In addition to the Center, other special facilities for graduate tax students include a graduate tax lounge and meeting room, and the office of the Florida Tax Review.
