Levin College of Law

In-class Research Training Sessions

We welcome invitations to visit your classes for research sessions on particular subjects or resources.   In order for us to provide the best experience possible, please provide us with as much advance notice of your request as possible.  When you make your request, it is helpful for us if you provide information such as:

  • Date and time of the class when you want us to teach
  • Class name
  • Specific subject and/or resources that you want us to cover and the outcome that you desire – the more details the better. e.g. rather than asking for an Administrative Law session, tell us that you want your students to be able to locate federal regulations dealing with securities and SEC No-action letters so that they can write a memo on the topic.

To place a request, please contact your liaison.

Instructional Technology Training

The law librarians strive to keep up to date on instructional technologies.  If you need assistance with learning how to use library databases, such as WestlawEdge, we may be able to assist you.

To schedule a training session or to find out what group sessions the library is planning for the current semester, please contact your liaison or the Faculty Services Librarian, Gail Mathapo.  Requests for group sessions are also welcomed.

If you need assistance with the smart podiums or other technologies built into the classroom, please contact the law school Technology Services department.
